Farm Life.

I've been farm sitting.  And I am filled with good feels as Opal would say.
Morning chores, 100 degree heat sparkling on golden pasture, the sweet smell
of rotting apples and ripe plums, water to goats and sheep, scratching a sweet
dogs ruff, watching ducks parade into shade, testing electric fences, swimming
in a river to cool down, making art underneath a cherry tree, teaching new dogs
old tricks, watching the sunset, washing up, sleeping out. Perfect day.

Goat Love.

I'm not quite sure how it happened...but I fell in love with goats.
My biological clock is ticking away for goat babies.
For now I am lucky enough to be friends with a farmer
who is raising a herd of twenty Kikos.
Time watching the goat channel is time well spent.

YES PLEASE.

i LOVE goats.
These are two new friends I met this month.
Scout is on the left, she lives on Hwy 53,
and has a incredibly nice owner
who will let a city girl pull over her car
and pet that goat for a long time.
The goat on the right is only 24 hours old,
and her human companion Brad
not only let me pet her, but also hold her.

These silly goat creatures have my heart.

I've begun looking through the camera lens
differently these days.
Sometimes I see something that I LOVE,
and I think "YES PLEASE."
I would like a second helping of that please.

I'll show you more "YES PLEASE" pictures soon.

Clackamas County Fair

This morning I went to the Clackamas County Fair.

And I fell in love. A trio of my favorite goats.

A trio of spinning.

And a pioneer house I'd be happy to call home.
One word of advice. Go!
