When I was a teenager we lived on a farm and I had a pygmy goat. I lost interesting in goats when we had so many problems at our previous home (neighbors goats were always jumping the fence and destroying our plants/trees). The flip side is that we have dairy goats next door to us now, and they're no trouble at all. And cute, especially the babies.
It's the best of both worlds really. I can see them, hear them, enjoy them, and not have to take care of them. lol
I used to live within walking distance of the fairground. I never managed to attend a fair the entire four years we lived in Canby. It wasn't until several years later that I went with a friend. Glad you had a good time. :-)
Have you ever been to the Flock and Fiber Show? It's coming up on the 24th/25th.
