Hawaii.

What a lush land of tropical delights. A week was spent soaking in the most missed
sunshine, eating copious amounts of fresh fruit and fish, body surfing until our knees
and chests were raw, traveling the long and winding road to rural Hana, swimming in
waterfalls, befriending colorful feathered friends, convincing horses that their pasture
had the best view on the island, being mesmerized by the shapes and colors of the
flora and fauna, walking through a beautifully breezy bamboo forest, and watching
sunset after sunset after sunset. I am incredibly fortunate to have spent a week in
paradise with the people I love most on the planet. Mahalo, Hawaii, until next time...

Hawaii, A Love Story.

Oh Hawaii, I miss you. I miss your splendidly warm days,
the tropical breeze, silly amounts of fresh fruit,
swimming in your salty sea with turtles and fish galore.
You are a magical vacation land...

Here is the coast on the way to Hana...
can you image an ocean more beautiful in color?

Waterfalls just seem to appear, like magic.

And red birds as well. This little fellow wanted to
join us for some appetizers one evening.
I feel a new scratch board coming on!
