More Rock Painting.

I've been completely obsessed with Julia Rothman's book Farm Anatomy.
Last week it was sunny and I sat in the backyard and painted rocks from Falcon Cove.
All the while browsing Julia's gorgeous illustrations.
Daler-Rowney in white is my preferred ink with a teeny tiny brush.

Hope to see some more sun this week in California!

YES PLEASE rolling rocks.

YES PLEASE to rocks rolling in and out of the ocean.

YES PLEASE to women's hands that do and hold so much.

YES PLEASE to art supplies that bring inspiration and creativity.

And YES PLEASE to making something of all those wondrous things.

9 Years.

Look what we found on the beach
on our 9 year anniversary!
One rock for each wondrous year.
If you have never been to Falcon Cove
on the Oregon coast,
it's a must.
The sounds of these rocks rolling
in and out of the surf is primordial.

Look forward to new quilt pictures soon!
